Buckhorn Ski Lodging — Town Home at Beaver Creek

Our family trip to Beaver Creek/Bachelor's Gulch was quite memorable and certainly enhanced by the comfort of this home, 31 Buckhorn Ln, and ease of access to the shuttle system.

The supply of towels, shower notions, etc. was beyond what we've experienced in other rentals. The remodelled kitchen was large enough to accommodate multiple cooks and is a really nice area to hang out in. Just a note, the bottom drawer dishwasher to the left of the sink is not working properly and needs to be serviced. It holds water and doesn't get the dishes clean. We decided to not use that one dishwasher and instead resorted to using the other two...no big deal. The kitchen sink faucet also needs to be reattached securely to the underside of the granite countertop. I gave VALUE a 4 out of 5 because we were disappointed that the elevator was not in service and felt that perhaps a discount should have been offered. It would have been REALLY helpful in transporting suitcases and groceries. As the owners of a rental beach house that has an elevator, we know how important and useful the elevator is to renters.

Additionally, the curtain in the master bathroom, which looked as though it had been removed since there is a curtain rod, needs to be rehung. The large window needs to have some privacy covering because if there are guests in the home next door sitting out on their patio or in their hot tub, those guests can easily see through the window into the master shower of 31 Buckhorn. It would be especially uncomfortable for someone to take a shower at night with the light on in that shower.

I know it sounds like I'm being negative—not meaning to be—just wanted to point out a few details that need to be looked at and taken care of. Overall, we would certainly recommend this home to our friends and others. It had a beautiful view, was clean and just downright comfortable. We would stay here again if we return to Beaver Creek to ski.
