The condo was "tired" with fraying carpets and old fixtures and badly in need of paint but it was clean and cozy and we didn't require more. By walking through the Chateau Chamonix, the more upscale condo development down the driveway, we found convenient access to the slopes. However, this is a privilege we took for ourselves in spite of signs saying the access was for guests of those condos only. If not for this, the walk would have been much longer. The bus was nearby, but miss it and you wait 20 minutes... a long time in the morning with long lift lines. The hot tub jets were not working. We liked that the unit had an actual wood burning fireplace insert rather than gas. The kitchen had all we needed for cooking.

About Ski Ranch

Ski Ranch Condominiums offer units that are spacious while still being affordable. All Ski Ranch units come equipped with a full kitchen, wood fireplace and private deck to enjoy the sun. There is also an on-site hot tub to relax your tired muscles after a long day on the slopes. Ski Ranch is located just down the road from the slopes of Steamboat, a short hundred yard walk to and from the lifts. If you would rather get a ride to the lifts, Ski Ranch is also located right on the free city ski shuttle route.
