Beaver Creek Ski Resort Reviews | Colorado USA

I went to Beaver Creek with my family this past season and we absolutely loved our stay at this resort. There are ski runs for everyone and all of the lifts are easily accessible. The hot cookies that they pass around in the afternoon was a nice touch for the kids. We flew into Eagle and took a short shuttle ride to the mountain. I also like that you can download an app and call the resort shuttle whenever needed, though on busy days you may have to wait a little while. When shopping around for lodging, Beaver Creek was much more affordable than Vail but the two resorts are only a 15 minute drive from each other. We can't wait to go back!

I stayed in Beaver Creek at the end of this season this year and I have to say, it surpassed my expectations. Beautiful resort with some great dining options. Love the skating rink in the plaza area. While I was there it was still snowing quite a bit and the groomed runs were amazing. I was sad that the Red Buffalo was closed as I heard some amazing things about that area, however, being the end of season I understand. So we went over to McCoy Park and really enjoyed that. In the afternoon I did a few blues that came down right into the village and they were also fantastic and it was mid afternoon. If you have teens I would also recommend they check out the Hawk's Nest Cabin. Definitely gives the kids something to do when they aren't skiing and helps avoid the "I'm bored" comments.

I visited Beaver Creek in early April and honestly fell in love with the resort. It feels like you're part of a private club, as the buildings all have a similar design and aesthetic. As a beginner skier, I spent most of my time in the Haymeadow learning area, which was well groomed and not at all busy. We ate at a few restaurants around the village, there were lots of options from seafood to Tex-Mex and classic American comfort foods. I would recommend Beaver Creek as a great destination for families, and I hope to one day bring my kids here too.
