Sun Peaks totally surprised me in the best way. It has that cozy, small town vibe but still offers amazing skiing and tons to do year-round. The runs were never crowded, the snow was great, and being able to ski right into the village made everything super easy.

In the summer, it's just as fun, awesome hiking trails, mountain biking, and some really beautiful views. The village has a nice mix of shops and restaurants, and everything is within walking distance. It’s super family-friendly but also great for a relaxing couples’ getaway.

If you're looking for a chill mountain resort without the crowds (but with all the perks), Sun Peaks is a win.

Sun Peaks is a year-round ski and ride destination. It offers superb skiing and snowboarding in the winter and fantastic mountain biking and hiking in the summer. The resort is easy to drive to or you can fly to Kamloops airport and then a short drive up to the resort. Sun Peaks offers plenty of terrain for all levels of skiers, boarders, and riders. The village is beautiful and has several shops and restaurants, and a little bit of nightlife. I enjoy Sun Peaks in the winter and summer, and highly recommend it to everyone!

Sun Peaks has become a family favorite of ours in both winter and summer. Tons of activities year round. When we go in the winter we love to ski, go tubing, skating in the huge covered rink, and so much more. When we go in the summer we always look forward to hiking, golfing, and they often have concerts on weekends. In addition, they have the farmer's market in the village every Sunday. Several dining options to choose from as well. You can either fly into Kamloops (which is only about 40 minutes away) or Kelowna (which is about 2 1/2 hours away). And while staying here they have a free resort shuttle which makes getting around really easy if you aren't staying right in the village.
