Off on a ski vacation to Breckenridge, Colorado, and wondering where to eat? We’ve developed a Breckenridge dining guide to help you decide where to go for breakfast, lunch, après, and dinner during your time skiing in the Rockies.

Note that most locations at Breckenridge don’t take cash payments, but do accept all major cards, ApplePay, and resort-charge.

Where to Eat Breakfast

Fuel up in the village with coffee and bites before hitting the slopes. Keep in mind that restaurant hours may vary by season.

Unravel Coffee & Cabin Juice

Open daily from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Unravel Coffee and sister restaurant Cabin Juice, located in Gravity Haus right off of Main Street, offer fresh coffee and breakfast every day until 2:00 PM. A cozy, wood-panelled farm-to-table locale, they offer healthy food options from chia seed pudding to breakfast sandwiches and smoothies alongside hand-brewed, carefully-curated coffees, with beans freshly roasted in house.

Maggie Waffle Shop

Enjoy hot, made-to-order waffles for breakfast from 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM at The Maggie Waffle Shop located at The Maggie at the base of Peak 9. Choose from a variety of sweet or savory stuffed waffle options, and pair your meal with a cup of hot chocolate.

The Gold Pan Saloon

A historical location established to serve gold rush miners in 1879, The Gold Pan Saloon on Main Street offers hearty American food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Enjoy their breakfast menu until 2:00 PM, which includes large-portion Griddle Cakes, Huevos Rancheros, and Steak & Eggs.

La Française

A bright and charming French bakery located on Main Street, La Française offers breakfast starting at 8:00 AM, with crepes, omelettes, and croissant sandwiches. Enjoy your food with a coffee or specialty hot chocolate, and take a bakery treat to go for a snack on the slopes. Note that La Française is closed on Wednesdays.

Where to Eat On the Mountain

Take a ski break with lunch and a hot drink (or beer). Visit Ski Hill Grill and Vista Haus in both winter and summer, but note that Pioneer Crossing, The Overlook, and TenMile are only open in the wintertime.

Pioneer Crossing

Located at the top of the Independence Superchair on Peak 7, Pioneer Crossing serves Southwestern food with a beautiful view of the surrounding slopes. Enjoy burritos, nachos, tacos, and plant-based options like Vegetarian Chili and a Green Chile Plantain Bowl, paired with Mexican hot chocolate from the Coffee & Cocoa Corral. Hot food and drinks are served at Pioneer Crossing from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM.
