One of my favourite features here is the bowling alley. What could be more fun than finishing up a day of skiing with a disco bowling night? Just be sure to book your time slot when you arrive so you don't miss out.
Whether you ski or not, there is plenty to do in the area; the skating rink and tube town are right across the way and the village is only a 5 minute walk from the lodge.
For me, the only thing missing from the FireLight Lodge is a swimming pool. I would love it if they would add one to the property - but if they did, I think they would have to add ten more buildings just to make sure they had enough rooms for the demand that would create on the mountain.
I'm sure everyone staying here will have a fantastic time!

Access to the mountain is right at the back door, as well as ice skating, tubing, bowling even kids snowmobiling.
The room was amazing, very spacious, has cubby holes for everyone's gear, and boot dryers. All the small appliances you could ever need are supplied aswell.
The only complaint I have would be with the bed couch as it is a bit uncomfortable.
We will definitely be returning to Firelight Lodge again next year but this time it will be in a 2 bdrm.

About FireLight Lodge
FireLight is located at Brewer's Pond at Silver Star. FireLight is a fantastic base camp for great adventures and maintains Silver Star's "ski from your door" reputation. Guests at FireLight can ski to the Silver Queen Chair, skate on the authentic natural frozen ponds, rip down the slopes of Tube Town or cross-country ski directly to the tranquility of Silver Star's world famous trails - all from FireLight's front door. FireLight was designed with families in mind, from thoughtful extras like built-in gear storage in every suite to generous amenities such as an common area outdoor hot tub (winter only) and BBQ areas. Relaxed, elegant and spacious, every one to three bedroom suite will offer modern gas fireplace, full kitchen with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, covered balcony, in-suite laundry in most units and flat screen TV. FireLight Lodge is like a brand new village. Stroll the boardwalk, relax at the café or simply gather round the crackling fire pit in the central plaza with friends and family. FireLight Lodge also has a small bowling alley with food & beverage on site.
