This property is stunning. Right when you walk through the front doors you're greeted with comfort and luxury.

Even the Standard Hotel Rooms are spacious and comfortable, providing enormous bathrooms with more than enough space for parents and children.

Access to the lifts is excellent. While it's not a ski in/ski out property, you're looking at less than a 2 minute walk to Gondola One. If Lionshead is more your style, you're looking at a cool 10 minute walk to the Eagle Bahn Gondola and the Born Free Express, or a short 2 minute shuttle.

The Cucina Restaurant is an amazing place for breakfast with lots of options for vegetarians, and a few for vegans, too.

The pool and hot-tub areas are large and are a great place to relax at the end of a long day of skiing, with a pool-side bar running until around 5 pm.

All in all, this is a great place for families who are wanting to stay right in Vail Village, but close to all the amenities that Vail has to offer.

The Lodge at Vail is amazing! I stayed in a Lodge Room 1 Bed and it has been one of the most luxurious places I have stayed as a Travel Agent. The room has a fabulous king size bed that I absolutely loved, but is so large it can make the room feel a little small. There was a large flat screen TV and a very big bathroom that had a separate glass shower.

The amenities here are great: 4 common hot tubs, a swimming pool, and sauna - which are always great after a hard day on the slopes (or in summer, a wonderful way to cool down and relax after a busy shopping day).

The local restaurant Elway's is an absolute must! The menu changes often but everything is always so well prepared. I actually tried calamari for the first time here and it was delicious! I recommend eating here; you will not be disappointed!

The Lodge at Vail is located right in Vail Village and can be ski in/ski out depending on the snow levels, but typically you do have to walk a short way.

The Lodge at Vail will not disappoint you.
