Renovated in 2008, Deer Lodge is located in the heart of the Canadian Rockies and has been restored to its original splendor including the log structure, decor and many of the original architectural features. Deer Lodge's rooftop hot tub offers a dazzling view of Victoria Glacier, and the scenery never fails to dazzle, making Deer Lodge a jewel of the Rockies renowned, the world over. Although Deer Lodge is a historic mountain property, we provide all the convenience one would expect to find in a modern hotel.
Dotting Emerald Lake Lodge's 13-acre peninsula are 24 cabin-style buildings capable of accommodating up to 200 guests; each is designed to reflect the traditional architecture of the lodge. Built of hand-hewn timber and featuring massive stone fireplaces. Emerald Lake Lodge includes an elegant dining room, quiet reading and sitting rooms, conference facilities and a games room. Emerald Lake Lodge features an oak bar salvaged from an 1890's-era Yukon saloon. From upper and lower verandas, the vistas of surrounding mountain views are breathtaking. To promote a more relaxing environment, rooms do not have TVs or internet access and there is very minimal cell phone service in Yoho National Park.
