I stayed here last summer with my husband and our three children. We booked a two bedroom plus den.

The unit is three floors. The main floor is the location of your kitchen, dining and living area. Upstairs are the bedrooms. Downstairs is the "den." I would not call this a den. I would call this more of a rec room because it is basically the entire downstairs floor.

We booked this unit with the intentions of spreading our kids out but they loved the den and stayed down there anytime we were back at the unit. This was so convenient and most certainly my favorite part of the townhome. We had friends come over for wine and we were enjoying each others company while the kids were downstairs watching tv, playing video games, going in and out of the hot tub. We didn't see them and were happy to not have the distraction.

The walk to the village was five minutes and an easy walk. The Orient Express chair is very close. This property could likely be a ski-in/ski-out, depending on where your unit is located. Regardless, I would not use that as a reason to pass this property up. I think this is an excellent choice for the price and the location.

We stayed in #27. The location had great ski-in and out access. The condo was well stocked, the furniture was comfortable and adequate for a larger group. It could be updated as couches, etc., are probably original. Overall, I would recommend it to others.

We stayed in unit 30 this past week with 5 people. Great location for easy access to the Orient Express & Morrissey. Easy short walk to the village. The Lodging Company was absolutely wonderful to deal with. Very responsive from booking accommodations, shuttles and lift tickets to even providing a hair dryer that was missing in the unit. Highly recommend having The Lodging Company look after trip planning!

We stayed at #27 Trappers Landing, which was a significant improvement from a different unit that we stayed in a couple of years ago at Trappers Landing. Perfect layout for our family, well organized kitchen, and a hot tub under the stars. In general, Trappers Landing is one of the best locations for reasonable access to the Village (10 minute walk to the heart of the Village, quite level) combined with easy ski on ski off.

We enjoyed a great week staying at Trapper’s Landing. It was in close proximity to Morrisey and Orient lifts from which you can then access the main village lifts or stay and enjoy the quieter runs. We discovered the quiet walking trail around the rear of Trappers which leads to the village which was kore picturesque that taking the main road in. The Village is well appointed with a number of eatieries, do book ahead of time at peak periods and weekends.

I like Trappers Landing (have stayed in Snow Creek, Timberline, McGillivray Creek, Stone's Throw, and Settlers Crossing in the past) and Trappers Landing is one of the best locations for proximity to village and lifts (good ski in/ski out), plus having a garage and lots of space with the den in the basement. I did not particularly like this unit (#6) because it has absolutely no view, it is sandwiched between the other buildings so you can't see any slopes or views of anything. The hot tub looks onto the road, not very inspiring. The TV's are ancient (CRT/tube) and small, they have VCR and DVD built into them but they don't work. I would definitely stay at Trappers Landing again but look for a unit with a nicer location.
