I had a studio apartment in the main building which has a very good restaurant upstairs. I was able to simply walk out the glass rear door of the apartment to access the slopes, and ski back to the same door. The kitchenette was basic but had everything needed for a week. The TV was small but had good content.
The staff at timberline are first rate, and in particuar the free shuttle drivers were excellent and very helpful in getting you around the village and to the supermarket. They will even get you to and from the airport and get your bags from your room. There is also an excellent free public shuttle bus system in Snowmass which stops right out the front. The wonderful team at the Lodging Company got me an excellent rate, cheaper than the major booking companies even negotiated a 25% discount for early booking.

Excellent! Only thing is hot pool wasn’t hot enough to use and the 2 hot tubs were full of people drinking beer. I’d suggest no drinking in the hot tub ... looks like an extension of the bar.
So our family didn’t get use the hot tub due to it being overcrowded.

Solution- warm up the pool! Make it hot.

Stayed on the 2nd floor and the room wouldn't cool down. Had to open windows in the condo to cool the rooms down. I think the heat from the 1st and 3rd stories trapped the room so it wouldn't cool down. Other than that it was fine.
