Slalom Creek apartments was an excellent choice for our family group of four as it is ski in ski out and next door to the Josie Hotel bar and restaurant which became our home-away-from-home as we could sit and have a drink and meal slope side.
As we didn’t have a car we relied on the Red Mountain shuttle bus to go to Rossland, and we would recommend hiring a car if you stay slope side at Red Mountain as you then the have the flexibility to drive to Rossland to do a supermarket shop.
Our apartment had the most beautiful outlook and the hot tub on the deck was a welcome treat at the end of a big day skiing.
It was well appointed and cozy but could do with an update with some of its furnishings.
We highly recommend the Slalom Creek apartments to keen skiers who want to be slope side at the thrilling and amazing Red Mountain!

Great spot to ski in. Skiing out is a bit of a hike up a hill but still pretty great spot! The amenities could have been better. The gym was basically useless as most of the machines did not function and half the weights were missing. The rooms were not well provisioned - no spices or oils, which is kind of basic stuff. Dishes were limited - no normal drinking glasses for hard liquor drinks for example. These are small things but for the price paid, these are expected things. I'd still recommend the place because its location is so good and having a hot tub and a comfortable bed was great. The price was probably higher than the value.

Great Mountain, not resort like, limited village 'live in' facilities - own transport to Rossland township 10 minutes away preferred. Lots of very friendly helpful locals who are very proud of their Mountain. Slow lifts.

Slalom Creek is a perfect location for skiing Red Mountain. The 3 bedroom unit 302 was luxurious and very well appointed. All kitchen necessities were on site. Unit 307 was not well appointed, there was less than the minimum expectation. Jason as our agent is great and the staff at Slalom Creek were terrific!
